§ Mr. CarterThe total expenditure by district councils under the Recreation and Youth Service Order 1973 between the period 1st April 1976 to 30th September 1976 which qualified for grant from the Northern Ireland Department of Education was £1,424,000. The amount of grant paid by the Department of Education to district councils under the order during the same period was £1,062,000. No other Government Department in Northern Ireland pays grants under this order.
