HC Deb 10 February 1977 vol 925 c842W
Mr. Sims

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will list in the Official Report the number of places in community homes designated as secure in each of the regional planning committee areas at the most recent convenient date, indicating in each case how many of these places are available for boys and how many for girls.

Mr. Moyle

The number of secure places in community homes approved by the Secretary of State for each Children's RPC area in England as at 9th February 1977 are listed below:

amount of work. Of the total outstanding some 18,000 are firm requests to buy added year or an unreduced lump sum retiring allowance, the remainder being requests for estimates. It is estimated that all outstanding cases, and these generally relate to staff who will not reach normal retiring age for 10 years or more, will be cleared by the spring of 1978.
