asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science, if in view of the growing need for further accommodation and facilities in the primary schools at Torrington, she will enable a new primary school to be built there.

I understand that the Devon Education Authority intends to start work on a new 360 place junior school in Torrington before the end of the present financial year.
