§ 67. Mr. Parkerasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether, in view of the representations he has received and the possibility of funds from private sources being available, he will delay disposing of Mentmore and its contents.
§ Mr. ShoreIt is for Lord Rosebery to decide on disposal of Mentmore and its contents. If, however, sufficient funds were to be offered from private sources towards the cost of acquiring and running the property I would certainly consider any renewed offer from Lord Rosebery.
