§ Mrs. Jegerasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what information he has received regarding conditions in the accommodation at Whittington Hospital to which it is proposed to transfer inpatient services from the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Hospital; and when he expects this transfer to take place.
§ Mr. MoyleI have seen a copy of an informal report by a consultant pathologist of the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Hospital staff. The Camden and Islington Area Health Authority (Teaching) is also aware of the contents of the report and is endeavouring to meet the additional requirements implicit in it; I understand that in consequence the nominal date for a transfer of in-patients services has been postponed for some eight weeks.
