Mr. Ovenden

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many pharmacies there are in each county in the United Kingdom; and what is the number per 10,000 population in each county.

According to the records of the Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain pharmacy closures and openings in England in the 12 months ended 31st October 1977 were as follows:
