§ 59. Mr. Higginsasked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection, further to his statement in the Official Report, 5th December, column 997 that he was not aware of the details of the decision of the Licensed Residential Establishment and Licensed Restaurant Wages Council on increases in pay which were in excess of the Government's pay guidelines, if he will take steps to keep himself informed of such pay increases as are likely to have direct and indirect effects on the level of prices.
