§ Mr. Higginsasked the Secretary of State for Transport how much public money has so far been committed to purchase property on the preferred new route for the A27 announced by the Minister on 31st May 1977; and how many properties this covers.
§ Mr. HoramSix properties along the preferred route have been acquired at the368W request of the owners at a total cost of £155,777. Negotiations on the purchase of a further five are in progress but details of the cost are not yet available.
