§ Mr. Harry EwingThe number of persons arrested and detained in each region in Scotland between 29th November 1974 and 8th December 1977 under the authority of the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Acts 1974 and 1976 were:

§ Mr. McNamaraasked the Secretary of State for Scotland in how many cases applications were made for detention to be extended by a further five days under the Prevention of Terrorism Acts; and in how many cases it was refused.
§ Mr. Harry EwingBetween 29th November 1974 and 8th December 1977 applications for the extension of detention by a further five days were made in four cases and none of these applications was refused.
