§ Mr. DeakinsThe recommendation of the panel of assessors for district nurse training is for a six-months training course followed by three months' supervised practice. The panel has also proposed that employment as a district nurse should be conditional on possession of the district152W nursing certificate. My Department is about to consult health authorities on both these proposals and hopes to complete consultations by the spring of 1978.
