§ Mr. DeakinsAn agreement on a national rank structure for uniformed ambulance officers was reached by the Ambulance Officers Committee of the National Health Service Administrative and Clerical Staffs Whitley Council in 1975 and promulgated to health authorities by Advance Letter (AC) 12/75. This has now been applied by all authorities, so far as I am aware.
