§ Mr. Roseasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will issue directives to area and regional hospital boards and general practitioners to keep statistics on the number and type of injuries treated in relation to children suffering accidents in children's playgrounds.
§ Mr. MoyleThe systematic collection of such statistics by all health authorities and general practitioners would not be practicable. Consideration is, however, being given to the possibility of including playground accidents in the Home Accident Surveillance System of the Department of Prices and Consumer Protection.
