asked the Secretary of State for the Environment how many Press conferences have been held at the Government Press Centre since 1st July 1977; and how many Press conferences are planned to be held there before 31st December 1977.

Since 1st July 1977 two Press conferences have been held at the St James's Conference and Press Centre. One further Press conference is planned between now and 31st December 1977.
