§ Mr. Alfred MorrisIn the year ended 31st March 1977 attendance allowance at the lower rate ceased in (a) 12,331 cases because of the death of the disabled person; (b) 1,635 cases because of termination of the certificate; and (e) 5,028 cases because of an award of attendance allowance at the higher rate. It is regretted that the split of these figures between children and adults is not available.
