§ Mr. RowlandsHer Majesty's Government are engaged in negotiations in an attempt to reach a settlement which would enable Belize to proceed to speedy and secure independence. The precise nature of any post-independence arrangements would be a matter for discussion with the Belize Government at the appropriate time.
