§ Mr. Sproatasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what representation his Department will have in the proposed talks in Iceland between the EEC Commission and the Iceland authorities regarding granting access to British vessels in Icelandic fishing waters.
§ Mr. Hugh D. BrownIn these talks the EEC Commission, together with the Presidency delegation led by my hon. Friend the Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office will be representing the interests of the fishing industries of the Community as a whole. I shall ensure that in the briefing of the delegation the interests of Scottish fishermen are taken fully into account.
