Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he is satisfied with the level of 55 pence per week payable to widows of men who have died from industrial lung diseases; and what action he will take to increase it.

I would refer the hon. Member to my right hon. Friend's reply to his earlier Question on this matter on 26th May 1976.—[Vol. 912, c.281.] The Royal Commission on Civil Liability and Compensation for Personal Injury is expected to report later this year.
