§ Mr. ArmstrongInformation about the number of registered houses in multiple occupation is not available in the Department. The Housing Act 1969 provides that the penalty for conviction, for failure to register a house in multiple occupation in areas where a registration scheme is in force, is a fine not exceeding £10.
