§ Mr. Sproatasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will give his estimate of the percentage of persons employed in his Department who left the Department in 1976 for reasons other than having reached retirement age.
§ Mr. ArmstrongThe staffs of the Departments of the Environment and Transport are jointly managed and it is not possible to give separate figures for each Department. Approximately 7.6 per cent. of the staffs of the two Departments left during 1976 for reasons other than having reached retirement age.
