Member for Burton (Mr. Lawrence) on 2nd February 1976—[Vol. 904, c.451]—the Government have noted the EEC Commission's recommendation to member States concerning the levels of their excise duties on wine. I cannot now comment further on any measures concerning indirect taxation which my right hon. Friend may consider it necessary to take.
