§ Mr. McElhoneExpenditure on new construction of trunk road motorways in Great Britain for the last four years from 1972–73 was £1249 million, £144.6 million, £150.7 million and £208.9 million, of which expenditure in Scotland was £10.5 million, £5.4 million, £7.3 million and £14.4 million—which does not include expenditure on local authority motorways, including those in Glasgow.
