HC Deb 22 November 1976 vol 919 c997W
Mr. Patrick Jenkin

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he is satisfied with the standards of primary health care in poor areas such as London's East End, including the provision of premises and the recruitment of nurses and social workers.

Mr. Ennals

There are problems of satisfactory provision of primary care facilities and services in areas of social deprivation, such as the East End of London; and these are well recognised by my Department and by the health authorities who must provide those services and facilities.
