§ Mr. Harry EwingOn the latest available information, 423 patients are awaiting cardiac surgery in Scotland, mostly at the units in Glasgow and Edinburgh. I am satisfied that the health boards are aware of the growing demand for this surgery and, within the limits of available resources, are doing their best to meet it.
