§ Mr. Alfred MorrisThe Government's policy is to issue cars of British manufacture to the maximum possible extent consistent with the need to meet the medical needs of disabled people and to exercise reasonable economy. There are some disabled drivers, however, for whom no British car is suitable. My hon. Friend may like to know that considerably more than 90 per cent. of the Department's fleet of cars are of British manufacture.
