§ Mr. George Rodgersasked the Secretary of State for the Environment, in view of the possibility that the nuclear waste deposited in the Ulnes Walton area of Lancashire several years ago could be hazardous, if he will review the procedures for the surveillance of sites that have been utilised for the disposal of nuclear waste.
§ Mr. Denis HowellThe Ulnes Walton disposal site continues to be inspected by my Department and I am advised that there is no environmental hazard.
