Mr. Watkinson

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment how many buildings in the Gloucester area have been viewed as possible alternatives to the present building in which the office of the DHSS is situated.

Mr. Armstrong

One property in the area has been viewed by the Department of Health and Social Security but was rejected as unsuitable in May 1975. The Property Services Agency has considered six other buildings but these were unsuitable.
