§ Mr. GoldingI am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that a total of 396 trainee operatives are currently under training at civil engineering training centres operated by the Construction Industry Training Board, and that 53 of these trainees are not sponsored by employers. Efforts are continuing to find employers willing to sponsor these trainees.
