§ 54. Mr. Wallasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a progress report on the construction of the Humber Bridge and its associated road systems.
§ Dr. GilbertThe Humber Bridge Board expects the bridge and its immediate approach roads to be opened to traffic in late 1978. The development of the associated road network is proceeding well, with the recent opening on the north bank of the final section of the M62 and the start on the south bank of construction work or a further section of the M180 and on the new link between the M180 and the Barton-upon-Humber bypass.
