HC Deb 21 May 1976 vol 911 c746W
Mr. Sillars

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what finances the Scottish Development Agency would require in order to maintain the real value of its £200 million budget over the next five-year period, on the assumption that the current rate of inflation remained constant.

Mr. Gregor Mackenzie

An estimate of this kind would depend on so many assumptions as to the timing and makeup of the agency's expenditure as to be meaningless.

Mr. Crawford

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what was the total amount of money spent, at the latest convenient date, on industrial and commercial projects by the Scottish Development Agency.

Mr. Gregor Mackenzie

This is a matter for the Scottish Development Agency.
