asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many premises in England and Wales were licensed for the retail sale of intoxicating liquor, showing (a) full or licensed premises (b) Part IV licensed premises, (c) registered clubs and (d) off-licence premises in each of the years 1960, 1970 and 1975.

A large number of organisations and individuals have sent in views on the age of consent. Among these are some who have proposed that the age of consent for homosexual acts should be reduced, while others advocated no change. Those commenting on the age of consent to heterosexual intercourse are mainly opposed to any change. All these views are being considered by the Policy Advisory Committee on Sexual Offences.
