§ Mr. ShoreThere have been no occations when an export credit guarantee has been issued to support the purchase of ships built in foreign yards by a foreign purchaser under a United Kingdom licence. However, there is a considerable export trade in the supply of ships' components from the United Kingdom to foreign shipbuilders which is supported by export credit guarantees, and occasionally the United Kingdom business is accompanied by licensing of designs from United Kingdom licensors.
