asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he can now say when he proposes to implement the recommendations of the Erroll Committee on liquor licensing.

The Government are reviewing the Committee's recommenda- tions and will take fully into account the views expressed by hon. Members on the Bill introduced by the hon. Member for Rushcliffe (Mr. Clarke), but there is no prospect of Government legislation on this subject during the present Session.
