asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will arrange for solicitors to have the same facilities as barristers when visiting clients at Brixton prison.

We are not at present convinced of the need to make any change in the existing arrangements under which the only difference is that barristers are exceptionally allowed to visit in the evenings.
