(2) how many applications have been received for each of the available places 580W on each course at each of the Government training centres over the last convenient 12-month period for which figures are available;
(3) if he will list the Government training centres presently functioning in England and Wales, and the courses currently available at each centre together with the number of places available in each course.

§ Mr. William Hamiltonasked the Secretary of State for Employment what steps he is taking to increase industrial retraining facilities in Scotland generally and in Fife in particular, in view of the decline in employment in factories such as those of GEC producing Post Office equipment.
§ Mr. Harold WalkerI am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that the adequacy of industrial retraining facilities is being kept under review in Scotland, as elsewhere, by the Training Services Agency. On 12th February my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer announced a series of special measures to increase industrial training in 1976–77. These measures will be applicable to Scotland as to the rest of the country, and discussions are continuing between industrial training boards and the Training Services Agency on their precise form.
