§ Mr. MulleyI assume the hon. Member is referring to teachers who have taken a course of initial training with a special option in the education of mentally handicapped children. Final figures are not yet available for 1975, but it is 519W estimated that about 310 teachers successfully completed such courses. The estimated figure for 1976 is 340.
