§ Mr. McCrindleasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will consider introducing graded speed limits for commercial vehicles on motorways, such limits being on the basis of the weight and carrying capacity of such vehicles.
§ Dr. GilbertThe Motor Vehicles (Speed Limits on Motorways) Regulations 1973 already set speed limits on motorways for lorries on the basis of unladen weight.
