MorrisNo. All vacancies in the Civil Service—both those which are filled by the Civil Service Commission and advertised nationally, and those filled by individual Government Departments under delegated recruitment arrangements, and normally advertised locally—are notified to the Department of Employment. Details of local vacancies can be obtained either from the departments themselves or from local Job Centres.
