§ Dr. GilbertThe inspectors appointed for the purpose of holding inquiries under Section 143 of the Road Traffic Act 1960 are selected from the Department's panel of fee-paid inspectors who currently number 48. These inspectors are employed on anad hoc basis at a present daily rate of £31.20.
