§ Mr. Gowasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether it is the policy of the Government that the National Bus Company shall "break even financially", as stated by the Chairman in the foreword to his annual report for 1975.
§ Dr. GilbertSection 41(2) of the Transport Act 1968 places a duty on the National Bus Company to break even financially taking one year with another. This duty applies after account is taken of local authority revenue support contributions.
