§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Employment whether he will publish in the Official Report a detailed list giving the full and part time appointments made by his Department which are held by peers of the realm, the names of the holders, the salaries and expenses paid to the holders of these appointments and when such appointments were made.
§ Mr. Harold WalkerNo peer of the realm holds an appointment in my Department. Lord Briginshaw was appointed a part-time member of the council of the Advisory, Conciliation and 35W Arbitration Service on 2nd September 1974, at a salary of £1,000 per year. He is reimbursed his necessary travelling and subsistence expenses incurred on the business of the council.
