§ The Prime MinisterI asked Sir Philip Allen to carry out an inquiry into the apparent leak of information about names proposed for my right hon. Friend's Resignation Honours List, and I have now received his report. Sir Philip Allen was not able to establish how the leak occurred. I do not propose to take any further action.
