All these appointments are part-time. The Governors of the British Broadcasting Corporation each receive remuneration at a rate of £1,000 per annum. No

List were leaked to the Press in advance of their submission to the Queen; and whether he will make a statement.

I asked Sir Philip Allen to carry out an inquiry into the apparent leak of information about names proposed for my right hon. Friend's Resignation Honours List, and I have now received his report. Sir Philip Allen was not able to establish how the leak occurred. I do not propose to take any further action.
