Member for Banbury 53W (Mr. Marten), in the cases of food poisoning connected with poultry; how many of those affected had to be treated in hospital; how many recovered; and how many died.
§ Dr. OwenI regret that the information available to the Public Health Laboratory Service does not include figures for the number of persons admitted to hospital. The outbreak of food poisoning to which I referred in my reply to the hon. Member for Banbury (Mr. Marten) on 11th March—[Vol. 907, c.298–9.]—resulted in one death—in 1972.
