§ Mr. GoldingI am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that applicants are offered allocation to skillcentres—formerly Government training centres—in date order from the time of making an application for training. No priority is given to the admission of immigrants to skillcentres in the North-West London area or elsewhere in Great Britain. The average cost of a training course in a skillcentre is £2,907.
