§ Mr. Barry JonesInformation about school leavers in the precise Ebbw Vale travel-to-work area cannot readily be obtained. In the Blaenau Gwent area, however, there were about 1,200 school leavers in the academic year 1975–76. Corresponding figures for 1976–77 are unlikely to be significantly different.
