asked the Minister for the Civil Service when he expects further staff dispersals to Norwich from Her Majesty's Stationery Office and the Civil Service Department to take place.

The dispersal to Norwich of the greater part of HMSO's Headquarters staff still in London is expected to take place towards the end of 1977 and in 1978 but is subject to the provision of suitable office accommodation. The timetable for the dispersal of CSD work from Chessington is dependent on accommodation and on the replacement of the computers; but the centre is likely to be operational in Norwich around 1982. A small number of other CSD posts may move to Norwich before then.
