asked the Attorney-General what was the net cost of administering Leeds Crown Court on Monday 12th July; and how many cases were heard or partly heard in that court on that day.

The net cost of administering Leeds Crown Court on Monday 12th July was approximately £650. On that day the annual conference of circuit judges of the North-Eastern Circuit was held, and court work was reduced accordingly. Two pleas of guilty were dealt with and one trial took place.
