§ The Solicitor-GeneralThe 133 stall were recruited to handle the additional work resulting from the Registration of Title Order 1975 (S.I. 1975 No. 160) which extended compulsory registration of title on sale to areas comprising a population of almost 2 million. That order followed the Government's policy for the extension of the system to the whole of England and Wales announced by my noble Friend on 26th July 1974.
