§ 25. Mr. Townsendasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what action he has taken to implement the recommendations of the Select Committee on Cyprus.
§ Mr. HattersleyI told the House on 19th May of the Government's regret that the Select Committee had not made a more constructive contribution to solving the Cyprus problem. The Government's considered response to the conclusions and recommendations of the Report will be placed before Parliament as soon as possible.
