§ Mr. Steenasked the Secretary of State for the Environment why the hon. Member for Liverpool, Wavertree was not advised until 12th January that a letter he wrote on 15th December to the Minister for Transport about taxi licence plates was to be transferred to the Home Office.
§ Dr. GilbertNine working days have elapsed between the date on which the hon. Member's letter was received and the date on which a letter notifying transfer was despatched. I regret this delay which occurred as a result of an oversight.
