§ The Attorney-GeneralThere is nothing in the Matrimonial Causes (Amendment) Rules 1975 which changes the law as enacted by Parliament. My noble Friend, who is chairman of the committee by which matrimonial causes rules are made, takes care to ensure that the committee never exceeds its statutory powers.
